Although I think Reachanny and Nongon are good singers, especially with American songs. I think their performances in this particular round isn't up to their potential.
Nongon - A little too pitchy and raw. But sweet voice indeed. Love your Michelle Branch cover and Umbrella cover. HOT! Again, I don't know how you got my picture.
Reachanny - Maybe you had to keep your singing volume down which affects your singing...but the transition and control is a little shaky. Off key at times. I'm still wondering why you go very low at times. Causing your singing to fall off the key that the song is in. I've never liked the modern singer's annunciation with Khmer pop or modern songs, which you've managed to pefectly do with the modern singing tone. It's not bad, just not my taste. I know you're a very good singer but it looks like you were restricted to go all out in this video.
Chanta Ouk - It surprises my why you always choose to sing outside knowing that it's tougher to project your voice and sing over the outside noise without a mic. The other videos, you were very shaky. I would have definitely given you some unfavorable critique. LOL. With that said, you actually did well here. Love the natural and full voice here. You've managed to hit the notes fairly well with a nice control (can't say the same with the other videos). Sounds like you've had a lot of practice with this song. Now I'm going to listen to it again and take a nap.
So based on this particular performance, I'd go with:
1. Chantha
2. NongOn
3. Reachanny
You ladies all did wonderfully. I wish I can sing.
I don't know how Chanta records but I know when I do...my cheap built in mic causes recording to sound crappy (shakey) when i get loud...for a good vocalist, you need the volumne but also control...she would be better with professional equipment and esp. in the studio...lol, for example, beyonce is loud as shi.. but she's working with good equipment
