that's still a toss up. i want this place to be sustainable based on its own merits. not on charity. i find charity to be a double edge sword. the feeling of entitlement is too much for me.

Just a suggestion. If it's not time consuming or not costly perhaps installing a search function is conventient for many purposes.

Another thing I have always curious about; everytime I log onto KW there's always an average of 60 users online. Comparing the low numbers of log-in members at any one time to other web boards I find the exceeding anonymous online number quite is high, could this be some sort of error?

I agree, but I also want to note that not everyone thinks that way. I can't speak for others, but my idea of donating was to help out a cause you support not about oneself. Therefore, the ego should be left at the door. I see donating as an opportunity to give back to the community by keeping it running as I know it is both time and money consuming to begin with. That's just my 2 cents.

there will be search function , i dont know if u can see it, but on the top of the image, u can see it.

most of them are random visitors. most boards have more visitors than members. it's very normal.

i dont know if most people understand how the development process works but it starts with

1) design in psd (done, i did most of it myself last year)

2) css (styling) (80% done)

3) build and customize cms (20% done)

it was promised to be done before 2010 but that programmer left it in limbo.

i understand most people are willing to donate with no strings attach (if i wanted i would have gave my paypal info here 6 months ago when everyone was offering to donate). although n1985 was able to send me money because he wouldnt stop bugging us lol. but i dont operate that way. it's not ego, but more of a philosophy.

there will be a paid subscription option. in exchange for your money is a product/services that we will offer (i cant reveal the details now). it's up to people whether they think it's worth their money or not. this is the only sustainable way. charity does not help an entity grow and prosper. if kw is to grow into what i hope it to be, an influential institution and thought leader for generations to come, it has to be privatize; it's the only way to afford to hire real experts to add value to kw, whether it's a writer for our editorials, a video producer for our kw idol to come, or a hostess for our retreats. i dont know any other way and i dont believe in non profits.  

Is there away to have more than 100 MB of storage space?

I am always low on space I don't mind doing this "there will be a paid subscription option"
(I delete stuff from my storage esp pictures causing some old thread to loose reference pictures and points, at this rate it will take me 10 more years to get all the Communist stars like KSaron ) Awkun
