Oh yeah, I'd like to recommend this super cool card to every and ALL Wet Seal shoppers out there. How do you get one? Just visit your local Wet Seal Store and inquire about it. haha.  You have to get one and should get one of these cards if 1.) You are a regular Wet Seal shopper; 2.) You love shopping at Wet Seal; and/or 3.) You frequent the store on a regular basis like me...lol. Why? Well, let me tell you why! There are many benefits you can get as a Seal The Deal card holder. It is a credit card? NOPE. It's not a credit card. It's actually a savings card. Does it cost any money to get the card? Yes, it does cost some money. Not that much though. But come on, nothing is free in life, right? lol. Anyway, the card costs only $10 and it's good for a year. Of course, you can renew the card each year by paying your annual fee of $10. It's only $10 you guys. But once your one year date expires, you don't have to renew the card. It's up to you.

What are the benefits? Well, everytime you make a purchase (no matter what item you buy, no matter how small or big your purchase is, no matter if you choose to shop at the store in person or online @ wetseal.com), you will automatically save 10% off of every purchase you make! If you do the math, that means you will save $1 for every $10 that you spend at Wet Seal. Anytime of the day; any day of the week; and any week of the year. LOL. How cool is that? So what are you waiting for? Get yourself a Wet Seal "Seal THE Deal" Card asap.  I've saved so much money from using this card everytime I make a purchase at Wet Seal (and you can too!). I shop there quite often and so with this card, I've saved a lot of money. Seriously. Also, I forgot to add that it doesn't matter if you make a purchase on a regular priced item, a sale's item and/or a clearance item, you will automatically get 10% off of all your purchases, each time you use your 'Seal the Deal' card. Cool, huh? Above is a copy of my Seal The Deal Card. You can get one too! So get yours today. Right away! And start saving big time like me. hehehe. Just wanted to share that.

I do like the store but I don't shop there enough.  Mostly since the mall in DE that I go to doesn't have one.  Anyway, goodness girl ... you really do know your shopping.

Thanks Nitha!  Oh, you can always do your shopping online if there are no Wet Seals near you. Hopefully they re-open or build another one near your home. Sorry to hear that. No girl should ever be deprived of a Wet Seal Store.  I didn't even know you reside in DE now. LOL.

rarely do i find anything i like at wet seal. the styles are often very clubbish and the materials are usually polyester or mixed materials. i'm a 100% cotton girl. i would pick up a really cute shirt and if it's not 100% cotton i'll place it back down. most often i would do this unless it's silk or cashmere or both mixed with cotton or a must have, regardless of materials. oops.... i think i went off tangent from the topic of this thread. hehe.... btw, vanna, you might like charlotte russe. i find their clothes better in style with more girlie business attire. it's been a while since i shop there. the last time was when i bought that polka dot shirt for my high waist skirt.

I work in DE and live in PA ... still driving to DE is only about 15 minutes for me.  And since it's tax free in DE I do most of my shopping there.   Oh, I managed to find a Wet Seal yesterday ... sorry to say I didn't find anything.  I ended up at Charlotte Russo and spending too much there instead.

Sundy, thanks for the recommendation. Aside from Wet Seal, I've always loved Forever 21 and Charlotte Rousse. hehe! I used to shop at those two stores all the time, back in college and high school. I still do to this day! I guess I have different things that I like from each store. Charlotte Rousse has really cute fashion accessories (earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.) along with stylish sweaters, cute business tops, trendy blouses and fashionable knit tops at very affordable prices (which I def love). I also love their two for one deals that they have going on sometimes too. Pretty cool. Nitha, oh okay. That's cool. hehe. DE is right next to PA, so commuting isn't too bad, huh? Especially a 15 minute commute. Lucky you.

I was in Wet Seal Heaven!

I know some of you are going, huh? Say what? Come again? Haha. Okay, well...let me explain. Anyway, I told myself that I wouldn't go into a Wet Seal store for at least a whole month or so just so that I don't get tempted to shop anymore (since I bought so much stuff already, lol!) and yes, I actually did keep that promise to myself. *pats self on back*

Ah, I haven't set foot in a Wet Seal store since mid-August-ish (crazy, I know), but then I was at the mall a few days ago with my friends doing our usual retail therapy and well, I saw a big sign that read "Additional 50% off of all clearance items", which if you are a Wet Seal Shopper, you know that those are huge savings right there because usually, every item gets marked down close to nearly 60% off of its original ticketed price when it makes its way to the clearance rack. I'm thinking to myself, well it wouldn't hurt just to go inside and take a peep. That's a lot of savings shoot. haha.

So I went in and grabbed one item to try on. Then I grabbed another item to try on to match with the first item that I got and then, well, I ended up grabbing a total of 13 items all together to try on and what do you know? I lucked out because ALL 13 items fit me perfectly! It's rare to find items on the clearance rack that fit me since I'm usually a size small or extra small and most items that are left on the clearance rack are usually size large or extra large. To my luck, I found many items that were my size, even jeans too. I was stoked! I couldn't choose which items not to buy nor could I resist letting go of any. So I bought all 13 items. LOL. You won't believe how much I paid for them.

Here's what I got : two dresses (one plaid and one tube dress), a cute army print overall, a green high-waist short, one ruffle polka dot woven top w/ a black vest (I love layering my shirts and tops with vests, so I had to get that...actually, I love vests period), a black business casual short sleeve outerwear, two long rib tanks (one light green and one brown), one pair of dark denim skinny jeans, one pair of high-waist belted skinny leg jeans, one dark pink satin bow style tube top, one red with a bow-on-neck style halter top and a ruffle white dressy classy woven top.

Anyway, so I calculated how much I would have had to pay if I had paid full price for all items together including taxes and the amount came up to $305 and something cents. But since I used my Wet Seal Savings Card, I got an additional 10% off of the already additional 50% off (Special Deal thingy that they had going on this week) of each item which was already marked down to like at least 40-50% off of its original price to begin with. So I paid a total of $71 and something cents for all 13 items. Yes, I spent only $71 dollars!!! And look how much I got? How much money did I save total? A whopping $234. I saved $234! If you do the math, that's like a total savings of about 77% off of each item. Basically, I paid $5 for each item, excluding taxes. WOOT WOOT. Crazy, huh? Haha. I love all the stuff that I got. I don't care if Summer is over. I can still wear any of the items anytime I want. The weather isn't that cold *yet. Haha.

Edit : Here are some more cool Wet Seal items that I got which were all on clearance. Yes, I couldn't contain myself. So I had to pay another visit/trip to the store to get just a few more items before the sale ends. Okay, 5!

They are as follow : I got a pair of denim shorts (original price : $24.50), a red belted stripe woven top with ruffle bottoms (original price : $18.50), a royal purple satin top (original price : $26.50), a purple wrapped blazer (orginal price : $26.50) and a dark orange pink wrapped blazer (original price : $26.50). Guess how much I got each item for? Haha. Not $5, but $4.50 each *with the exception of the two blazers which were both $5.40 each. Since I used my Wet Seal Savings Card, I got an additional 50 (or 60) cents off of each item (which was marked down an additional 50% off of the already marked down price). Woot Woot. In terms of math, I got a discount of about 79% off of all five items. My total came out to be $26 and something cents. Dang, 5 new items for $26! Had I paid full price for ALL items, my total would have been $136 and something cents (including taxes). So I saved $110! That's A LOT.

I also started on my Winter Shopping because when school starts next week, I'll be too busy and too preoccupied to do any shopping after that. So I figured, it's better to be overprepared than underprepared right? I know that Winter (at least for most people) starts in December (and that includes Northeasterners as well), but for me, Winter starts at the end of October because I get particularly cold when mid-Fall hits (I guess it's because I don't have much body fat to keep me warm) and so I got myself some thick fur jackets and satin trench coats to prepare for the cold season that will be approaching very soon! Here are some things that I got for Winter. None of them are Wet Seal stuff though, but they sure are stylish and will def keep me warm in the upcoming months ahead.

What's trendy and in fashion in right now you ask? VESTS are def in! ^_^ All kinds and styles of vests. You can wear them over blouses, knit tops, wovens or regular shirts/tanks/etc. Ribbed cardigans are in. The color green is back in, but brown, white, beige, dark plum, black, grey and red are all very in. Pinstriped jackets, plaid shirts & tube top dresses are IN. Maxi dresses are out! Wide leg/trouser leg pant slacks are in. Ruffle woven shirts & satin tops are in! Sweater dresses are in. They can be worn alone or with footless tights. Long trench coats are in along with belted mid-waist jackets. Actually, anything that's belted is VERY HOT. Pencil skirts that accentuate the hourglass figure are very trendy and popular right now. In fact, they're everywhere! High-waist skirts are concurrently very fashionable too. Oh, long boots, short boots, etc. are all in. Stilettos too, but stilettos have always have been in though! lol. As for purses, big solid color purses will do. Okay, I think that's it. hehehe.

BTW, I think the Wet Seal sales don't end until the end of this week. So if you get the chance, visit Wet Seal! Save lots of money and shop until you drop. Haha.

The Last of my Wet Seal Clearance Shopping! hehe!

My Black 'n' White Collection include : a white w/ thin black striped belted pencil skirt (size extra small), a pair of black w/ thin white striped belted tube shorts (size extra small), a black w/ white polka dot blazer (size small), and a black 'n' white patterned button mini skirt (size small).

I also got some cute fashion accessories n jewelries including : a fashionable brown versatile scarve, a pair of white beetle sunglasses (they're in fashion right now), a pair of black 'n' white hoop earrings to match with my black 'n' white outfits (hehe), a pair of silver flower circle earrings, and two long fashionable necklaces (one in gold color and one in silver color).

I spent only $38 and something cents for all items. Yep! Only $38 for all items shown below. I saved a total of $92! And yes, again I paid only $4.50 for each clothing item. LOL. :sigh: The total, had I paid full price for all the merchandises put together would have been $129 dollars and something cents. So in conclusion, I received a 70% discount off of all 10 items combined. I LOVE WET SEAL!

Okay, school has started.

NO MORE time for shopping anymore. This is it!
