I agree with both steungsongkae and SpicyChick, but I think SpicyChick's choice of Khmer words are more precise on the second part.  The statement "what does not destroy me makes me stronger" symbolizes our inner strength rather than physical strength.  Therefore, the Khmer words "reung peung morm moun" are more in line with the English phrase.  Sorry, that is my opinion.

Here is my attempt to write in Khmer.

Warning!!!  I am a little rusty with my Khmer writing.  So please do tell your friend to seek 2nd, 3rd, 4th...opinion before engraving these permanently on to her body...

អ្វីដែលមិនអាចបំផ្លាញខ្ញុំ បាន គឺធ្វើឲខ្ញុំកាន់តែរឹងពឹង មាំ មួន

In Khmerglish "Ahvey dael min ach bomplahn kyom barn kir tver oy kyom kann tae reung peung morm mourn".

Anyone notices any errors to my Khmer spelling please chime in.

Thanks Raksa.  I'll go with Spicychick's choice too.  Hopefully, some one else come in to help with the translation or confirm if it is correct or not.

You're welcome, malaika.  I forgot to mention one thing about my writing in Khmer font.  Notice the spaces between several words?  I had to add a space in between certain words because if I didn't, then the consonants & the vowels would get disconnected.  So there are some glitches when we try to write Khmer font in here.  Thought I should point this out...

Mines might be a little more complex, but here let me try....

Avey dal men arch bomplang kyom pthuy thov veng nung tver oy kyom rong morm haiy pdol sakdey rung pung mok dal kyom jea nich.

Exact translation :

What does not destroy me adversely will only make me stronger and provide me more strength.

I'd go with Spicy & Raksa, but correct spelling would be:

អ្វីដែលមិនអាចបំផ្លាញខ្ញុំ បាន គឺនឹងធ្វើឲ្យខ្ញុំកាន់តែរឹងពឹងមាំមួន
