Most of you might have remembered her from her famous starring role in 'Janejira' which the storyline of the lakorn itself was inspired by a famous English novel called 'Jane Eyre'. She has played in many lakorns and is a very famous actress as well as singer. Some of you might have also remembered her as 'Neang Eye' from her first major lakorn starring role and/or from 'Neang Cafe' where she played as a singer or maybe even from 'Swah Mey' (although that one was somewhat a little boring...lol). Anyway, I've always enjoyed most of her lakorns because she's a very versatile actress and she can pretty much take on any role (i.e. be it sad, funny, serious or fiesty). Back in the days, she and Kob Suvannant along with Tao Sarocha were always mistaken for one another by fans because all three had crooked teeth. Kob doesn't have crooked teeth anymore, but Joy and Tao both still do. For Joy S. though, that's like her distinctive trademark ya know.
