Restaurant Reviews and Places to Eat |

I know I should post this in the Food Forum but since this is sort of static forum, I think it is best serve here. Anyhow, let's share places we ate at with good or bad experiences. If anything, I hope this is a list of name and address and phone number of local restaurants -- just in case we all need it.

My ultimate favorite restaurant is Jean-Georges in NYC (Trump Tower). The foie gras there is absolutely to die for. I dream about that dish and restaurant. Mmmmm Service is excellent too. The downside is that it's pricey. Best time to go would probably during restaurant week when they have fixed menus that are more affordable for lunch. Another downside for me is that I live in CA and can't go to this restaurant often but I try to go to this restaurant whenever I am in NYC. *sigh* When will I eat there again?

Hmmm.... That sound very close to Kim Tar restaurant on Pioneer Blvd north of South St. and south of 91 FWY. I think, but correct me if I'm wrong. What kind of food are they specialize in there? Sea food?

I didn't enjoy Sophy, it was probably one of the worst Khmer restaurant experience. The food was water down khmer cuisine with so-so service. I was kinda disappointed...I ate at two other khmer restaurants in LBC and it was better in terms of food and service. Maybe not nearly as nice looking as Sophy's but certainly better food.

sui generis When were you in the LBC? Had I known I could have whipped out my trusty black rimmed glasses with rubber nose and fuzzy mustache, and clandestinly observed your every move through strategically places holes in my newspaper. You wouldn't have had a clue! Speaking of which... oh nevermind.

The festive scenes of liberation that Dick Cheney had once imagined for Iraq, were finally taking place — in cities all over America. When Obama was elected!

Good reviews guys. This page must have been indexed and ranked up by search engines, over 40k views, this is very impressive since khmerwitica is still a new domain name - typically takes 4-6 months to be ranked up.
