Okay everyone, I need your advise. I've never been to Cali and am trying to plan a trip there for a few days. I'm not sure exactly what cities offer what. So help me out. Where to go? What to do? Must see? I don't want to waste time aiming hopelessly. Thanks!

I'm not that fond of BIG cities and the traffic it brings. I was trying to veer from LA as much as possible. I was hoping to go where I can walk around and see things. Eat some Ah Z food. So far I was told to drive up and down the coast bc of the view. I guess I'll do that for a day. However I'm still debating on where I should stay.

I've only been to a few cities in CA, but my favorite one has to be Santa Barbara. It's such a lovely city; I miss it. If you're going to be in long Beach, I say take a day trip to Catalina Island.

Go and visit Orange County!!! That's where I'm originally from...it's amazingly beautiful there with tons of things to do and see!

not sure how to advise you on that. you have to narrow it down yourself first. northen california, san francisco or do you want to visit national park or theme park like disneyland or universal studio in southern california. or long beach....lol

California ia BIG and 2-3 days is not enough to see all of CALI, espeically driving. It takes anywhere from 6-9 hours (depending on traffic, speed) to get from San Francisco to Southern Cali (Long Beach area).. that's about a day spent traveling already. I think you might have to narrow it down to either Northern Cali (Bay Area and Central - (stockton)) or Southern (Long Beach, LA)... there's there San Diego area too!
