A year without Khmer food

Imagine your on an Island for a year.  You can eat anything but khmer food.  How would you feel?  I was at this Hmong camp for a week and they serve only Hmong food.. In my opinion Hmong food was alrigth but its not up par with khmer food.   By the end of the week I was craving for some of my moms salaww Machooo greung and all the mouth watering khmer food.  Now try to imagine living a year without khmer food.  I probably can live without it for a year, but tha... I've had this conversation with my friends who have visited Cambodia, specifically Phnom Penh.  Like most of you, I have fantasized about opening a burger joint or some western-type saturated fat restaurant in Cambodia.Some people will argue that fast food joints are bad because it would lead to an unhealthy Khmer population.
