So I’m driving along 45th St. in the University District and I’m stopped at a red light. To my right a car pulls up a little bit ahead of me and I see a dog’s head sticking out the window. I’m a terrible driver. I think. I have accumulated over $200 worth of parking tickets and traffic violations in the month of July and August. Some of them are paid and others are tucked away in a fluorescent orange folder (to match the color of the tickets) specifically labeled “Bad Driving”. I think I will try to appeal a few of them. You know after 4 straight days of rain I finally got to see the beautiful rays of sunshine this morning. It felt incredibly good to wake up and see the bright light beaming in through my window. I’m sure the storm has come to pass at this point because only a few days ago heavy torrential down pours and thunderous stormy weather loomed over the entire region.
